For more than 15 years I've worked in sailing and the marine industry — buying, fixing, delivering and living with boats. I've seen what makes a good buy, and what quietly turns into a money pit.

I'm independent. I don't sell boats and I don't take broker commissions, so my only job is to give you an honest opinion — whether that's a confident GO, a smart HARD PASS, or rolling up my sleeves at your marina.

Based on Orust Island on the west coast of Sweden, I help buyers avoid expensive mistakes before they travel or pay — and help owners keep their boats ready for the water.
